Will be heading down to the shop to help grandma. It's the 3rd last day before Chinese Lunar New Year. So, my grandparents and parents are expecting a huge crowd.

What's so great about competitive market and pricing? It sours relationship between individuals in the same market. Yup, the consumers benefit the most, they can get the the cheapest product blah blah blah. However, sometimes it's real tiring for people doing business. And worse, it can arguably create/establish a monopoly. (Ok, I am not referring the footwear industry, but some other industry.) Haiz...

Rules for customers:

#1. If you see that the shop is packed like sardine and you don't have any intention of buying, please PLEASE do not squeeze into the shop :) Thank you :)

#2. If the salesperson is serving multiple potential customers (ie 80-90% of purchasing goods), and you are still comparing prices and pondering over what to buy. I suggest you do not "disturb" the salesperson, your mind can do the calculation and your dendrites are still capable of receiving signals/chemicals etc. So, wait, think, and only approach the salesperson after you are done thinking :)Thank you :)

#3. PLEASE do not request the salesperson to get the same product several times for you when you perfectly know that you are mostly/or even certainly NOT buying. It's frustrating! Salespersons are humans too! Don't make a fool out of them! Thank you :)

#4. Oh, please do not lie about prices. Salespersons know customers love comparing prices, therefore they are mostly aware about the prices in other similar stores. So, don't quote a ridiculous amount. Thank you :)

#5. Finally, don't abuse this statement - CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Be a considerate, sensible and NICE customer :) We will be glad to serve you. :)

*** If you really have no idea, you can still approach the salesperson. You might be impressed with their service and purchase a product. ***

*** And if you demand a refund, please give a valid reason. We know when you are cooking up stories and fabricating ludicrous reasons. ***

*** *** *** *** *** THE END *** *** *** *** ***
