Bali Trip Part 2:Transportation
Driver: Komang Mertha

He is a super nice uncle. He took care of my grandma throughout the entire
trip (My grandma is not able to climb the stairs --- it would take her an hour
to do so), and he even lodged a complaint for us. There is one food stall that
overcharged us !!!
He recommended us to a lot of places of interest, and patiently
answered all my dad's questions. (sometimes, my dad gets rather
repetitive)
My mother had a talk with Uncle Komang, and realised he is really a GOOD
guy.(I don't know the content of their conversation, but mom said uncle komang
can be a real good friend :))) )He does not forcefully introduce you to some
restaurant or place of interest (just to get commission).
Religion
The most dominant religion in Bali is Hinduism. That is why you can spot Babi (pork/pig) everywhere. [My dad asked Uncle Komang this]
For more information on Bali, do visit the trusty (rather trustworthy) wikipedia. :)
Petrol
The price of 1litre of petrol is Rp. 4500 (ie, 60cents). But the petrol price is going to increase in April.
Mineral Water
The water from the tap is usually non-potable, so you might need to purchase a few bottles of mineral water. Get them from the hypermart or minimart, Rp3300 for a BIG bottle. Don't get it from the hotel (unless bo bian lah), you pay Rp 17000 for a medium bottle (bo hua~ loh).
For all other things nice... experiencing it first-hand is the best thing to do :)
